Every first Friday of the month from June 5 through October 2, 2026, join Maryland Opera for an evening of favorites from Opera, Broadway, and beyond. Enjoy a glass of wine and a tasty meal from a local food truck as you sit on the lawn at Boordy Vineyards and experience opera in the great outdoors with the idyllic backdrop of the sunset behind the performers. Doors open at 6pm.

Maryland Opera's holiday tradition continues with a festive program including the most famous Christmas Eve in opera, the Act 1 Finale of La Bohème.
New Voices in Opera

This year's New Voices in Opera Initiative highlights Latiné/Hispanic stories and creators. The program includes A Way Forward by composer Laura Jobin-Acosta and librettist José Gabino Alba Rodríguez, and ¡Chicanísima! by composer and librettist Carla Lucero. The program will also feature a mini-recital by local university voice students performing works by other Latiné/Hispanic composers.
