Join Maryland Opera for an evening of favorites from Opera, Broadway, and beyond. Enjoy a glass of wine and a tasty meal from a local food truck as you sit on the lawn at Boordy Vineyards and experience opera in the great outdoors with the idyllic backdrop of of the sunset behind the performers.
*July's concert will be on the second Friday, July 11, due to the Independence Day holiday.

Come enjoy a summer night with an outdoor movie! We'll show the Meryl Streep film Florence Foster Jenkins about the diva known as the world's worst opera singer with an unquenchable love of the art form. There will be a short pre-film talk about this larger-than-life figure, a food truck, and wine sales by Boordy Vineyards.
Gates open at 7pm, the talk begins at 8pm and the movie starts at 8:30pm. Bring a blanket or chair and some bug spray and join us for this fabulous film on a a beautiful summer night!

Maryland Opera’s Summer Opera Camp celebrates its 16th year this summer! The Camp gives young singers training in all aspects of opera from vocal lessons and master classes to sessions in make up, costumes, wigs, stage combat, and more. The centerpiece of Opera Camp is “Create & Produce” in which the students will write their own opera. Come witness the creativity and talent of these young people in a performance of choruses, solos, and dance followed by the world premiere of the opera the students will write during the Camp.
