In keeping with Maryland Opera's commitment to the health and safety of our patrons and in accordance with state mandated closures, we were forced to postpone our season finale production, "Bravissimo Bel Canto," originally scheduled for April 26.

We still look forward to presenting this glorious program featuring selections from Italian operas including Norma, Lucia di Lammermoor, and I Puritani.  This inspiring program will be rescheduled when state and local officials and prevailing health conditions make it safe to welcome our audiences back.  We will communicate that here, as well as via our email list and Facebook page.  (Not sure if you're on our email list?  contact info@marylandopera.org and we'll be happy to add you!)

In the meantime, click below to see video from past performance, our education outreach programs, and virtual selections presented right from our singers' homes.

Please check back here for updates as we'll soon be announcing the exciting and innovative presentations we are preparing to bring the glory of opera to those who long for it and all led by Maryland Opera's famed Artistic Director James Harp!
